What do we have?-When is it available?
The initial offerings of Artbuyselltrade.com will be limited edition prints from the 1970's to contemporary times primarily published in the US, Canada, and England. Due to the extent of our stocks these will be available progressively as they are documented and inventoried. These are basically broken into four categories.
1. A collection of works published in California from 1974 to 1994 by Swanson Galleries of San Francisco, representing some of the more renowned artist of the time period and region from the beginning of the limited edition publication era on the west coast. Some twenty five thousand (25 000) works are available and currently being inventoried and photographed.
2. A collection of assembled Canadian publishers active from the 1980's to mid 1990's representing artists from across the country. Some forty thousand (40 000) are initially available.
3. A collection of individual works published by independent American and Canadian publishers from the 1980's,1990's period along with some European/UK published works. Twenty to thirty thousand (20 000 to 30 000) will be available.
4. Various collections of images published by Millpond Press and Greenwich Workshop operations and widely distributed throughout North America.This category of merchandise is accessed primarily from the collections of dealers/retailers and their clients and is made available as offered.
The above are primarily commercial lithographic prints in editions of 100 to 1000. We prefer to deal in editions of this size although on occasion might consider larger editions.
As we deal on a global basis the prints that are overstock in your operations may be transferable to a viable market elsewhere in which case everyone wins.
In addition to the above inventories of lithographic prints we also have collections of original prints ahich are currently being inventoried, including seriagraphs,stone lithographs, etchings, collographs, lino cuts and so on from contemporary through to historical period works, including works by Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Picasso, Durer, and others.
All historical works are verified to be authentic. These will be available to dealers and retailers as both collections and individual works.
We annually review many significant collections of contemporary and historical art some of which are purchased outright and others of which are dealt with on behalf of their owners. These unique collections will be made available to the dealer network as they arise.
In the near future it is our intent to begin purchasing outright collections of quality contemporary original artworks and representing the artists via exclusive exhibitions of their works through associated dealers and a series of international shows such as art expo and the Cologne Art Fair International.
